Dear friends, Since our last update, the trial for permanent custody of Nosey has been set for December 15, 2017. Many people have asked us if the courts will have access to all information that has been compiled on Nosey and her life with the Liebel family, and the answer is yes. Please rest assured that the individuals in Lawrence County, Alabama, who are responsible for Nosey's case are receiving the best possible assistance and have access to all available information. Nosey is doing very well at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, which regularly posts photos of Nosey enjoying her new surroundings to their Facebook page. If you haven't yet seen her photos, please take a look! We guarantee it will be the happiest sight you see today! At this juncture, sadly, there is nothing you can do to directly help Nosey. While we must entrust Nosey's fate to the professionals in Lawrence County, Alabama, we encourage you to support ALL elephants confined to the circus by speaking out against circus cruelty at every opportunity, including protesting any circuses using animals that visit your region, and working toward passing local law in your area to ban the use of elephants in traveling entertainment. If you need assistance, or a circus travels to your area, please contact us at info@cwint.org. CWI continues to monitor Nosey's situation and is preparing for the future should Nosey be returned to the Liebels. We kindly ask that you continue to read our updates for any future action you may be able to take. We also request that you share this petition, so that we can reach more individuals with information about Nosey should we need to mobilize actions on her behalf. We will update this petition as soon as we are aware of the result of the trial set to take place on December 15th. And, hopefully, we will be able to close this petition at that time! At CWI, we continue to fight for Nosey, Anna Louise, and the numerous other elephants, tigers, camels, and other animals suffering inside the circus. To support our work to end this cruelty, we gratefully accept tax-deductible donations of any amount to: cwint.org/donate. Thank you once again for caring about Nosey and supporting the efforts to free her and all animals from the cruelty of circus life. For the animals, Carrie LeBlanc, M.A. Executive Director CompassionWorks International cwint.org circusprotest.com facebook.com/compassionworksintl
