In the wake of the Newtown tragedy, we as Texas parents are begging Senator Cornyn to severely limit the availability of semi-automatic weapons and large magazines and clips. We support law abiding people's right to own guns for hunting, sport and self protection, but these combat style weapons and ammunition pose a serious and imminent risk to our communities. We are Democrats, Republicans, gun owners and non-gun owners - asking for your help to keep our children and our families safe.
