SHAMEFUL!  This truly breaks my heart.  Today, November 16, 2017, the Trump Administration reversed the Obama ban on bringing Elephant and Lion “Hunting Trophies” into the United States.  This comes at a time when Zimbabwe’s elephant population has declined by 6% since 2001 and Zambia’s elephant population has been reduced from 200,000 to 21,000.  At the same time Lions have recently been listed as threatened with extinction under the Endangered Species Act.  It is untenable that, while the rest of the world is putting a ban on Ivory, the United States in encouraging the hunting of Elephants for Trophies!
