The Issue

My name is Bryan Neil Vega, and I am asking for your support to address a serious civil-rights injustice. Over the past several years, I have experienced a pattern of treatment and consequences consistent with being wrongfully identified, flagged, or placed within a federal watchlist or related surveillance system—despite having no criminal record, no history of violence, and no involvement in any suspicious activity.

These actions have severely harmed my life, health, and safety. I am seeking transparency, accountability, and due-process protections that every American is entitled to.

The Impact on My Life

Beginning in 2024, I began facing a series of experiences and documented incidents that strongly indicate I have been subjected to:

• Employment Barriers

Job opportunities were suddenly withdrawn or blocked, often after background-check–related delays or unexplained communication issues.

• Emotional and Psychological Distress

Living under prolonged uncertainty, monitoring, and unexplained interference has significantly affected my well-being.

• Travel & Mobility Issues

I have encountered heightened scrutiny, disruptions, and unusually intense monitoring affecting my ability to travel freely.

• Harassment & Intimidation

I have documented multiple incidents of unexplained surveillance-like behavior, suspicious communications, intimidation, and interference with my daily life.

These events are not isolated—they form a multi-year pattern that has had devastating consequences.

Civil Rights Implicated

The treatment I have experienced raises serious concerns under:

1. Fifth Amendment – Due Process

I appear to have been flagged or treated as if I were on a federal watchlist without notice, explanation, or an opportunity to challenge or correct the situation.

2. Fourth Amendment – Unreasonable Surveillance

I have faced persistent, intrusive monitoring and privacy violations without any clear legal basis or probable cause.

3. First Amendment – Speech & Association

Normal, lawful associations and communications appear to have been misinterpreted or monitored, creating a chilling effect on my rights.

4. Right to Travel Freely

Unusual scrutiny and monitoring have impaired my ability to move freely for medical, personal, and professional purposes.

5. Privacy Rights

My private life has been intruded upon in ways that no innocent American should experience.

Efforts I Have Made

I have pursued every legal and administrative avenue available, including:

• Filing a FOIA request to the FBI

The response stated I was “not on the watchlist,” yet the documented effects and patterns I have experienced remain consistent with watchlist-related interference.

• Contacting civil-rights organizations

I have reached out to CAIR, ACLU, disability-rights advocates, and multiple attorneys. Many acknowledged the seriousness of my situation, but the complexity of my case has made it difficult to obtain representation.

• Seeking media and advocacy support

Some of these attempts have been disrupted by unexplained communication issues and suspected interference.

Despite all of this, I have continued to gather evidence, document the events, and pursue justice.

Why I Need Your Support

My case represents a larger issue:

ordinary Americans can be harmed by federal watchlist systems without transparency, oversight, or due process.

By signing this petition, you can help:

1. Demand transparency in federal watchlist processes

2. Support due-process rights for all citizens

3. Draw attention to the disproportionate impact on marginalized individuals and those with disabilities like myself

4. Call for an independent review of my case and the harms I have experienced

This is not only about me—it is about protecting everyone from unchecked government overreach.

A Call for Justice

I am fully prepared to provide documentation, communications, and logs to support my account.

I am simply asking for a fair review, due process, and the civil-rights protections that every person in this country deserves.

Your support matters.

Please sign this petition to stand against civil-rights violations and support investigations into wrongful targeting, surveillance, and watchlist impacts.

Thank you for standing with me.

Sincerely,

Bryan Neil Vega
