Urgent Update: Deny parole for Charles Dennis Easley-convicted child murderer

The Issue

https://www.kwtx.com/2022/01/14/fifty-years-later-convicted-grayson-co-murderer-wants-change-scenery/ On April 1, 1970 Laurie Stevens was kidnapped in Denison, Tx while walking home from school. She was 11 years old. Her body was found several days later naked in a ravine and shot 6 times. Charles Dennis Easley was convicted of this crime and the verdict was later overturned on a technicality. He remains in prison for the murder of another young girl Donna Marie Golish. He picked her up while she was walking home from school one day. We would like to keep him in prison for as long as possible. I am writing this to petition the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole to help keep this man behind bars. We need as many signatures as possible to submit so please sign if you agree.

Update: A notice was sent on 1/13/22 that I have just been made aware of that Charles Dennis Easley has requested a parole release under "Medically Recommended Intensive Supervision".

According to the TDCJ website "Medically Recommended Intensive Supervision" Is:

"The purpose of Medically Recommended Intensive
Supervision is to identify eligible inmates in TDCJ facilities who could be
diverted from incarceration to more cost-effective and appropriate treatment
alternatives."

The last parole review was denied in 2018 for the following:

"Denial reason(s): 2D

2D NATURE OF OFFENSE - THE RECORD INDICATES THE INSTANT OFFENSE HAS ELEMENTS OF BRUTALITY, VIOLENCE, ASSAULTIVE BEHAVIOR, OR CONSCIOUS SELECTION OF VICTIM'S VULNERABILITY INDICATING A CONSCIOUS DISREGARD FOR THE LIVES, SAFETY, OR PROPERTY OF OTHERS, SUCH THAT THE OFFENDER POSES A CONTINUING THREAT TO PUBLIC SAFETY."

To qualify for this type of parole an inmate must meet ONE or more of the following: Terminally ill, Elderly, Physically handicapped, Mentally ill, Developmentally Disabled, need Long Term Care, Have Organic brain syndrome, be in a persistent vegetative state, or have special needs.  This man is no less dangerous now than he was in 2018.  We do not want him to be released under any circumstances.  If given the chance, he is sure to offend again. This is the type of violent criminal who truly deserves to die in prison.
