A National Fight Is Here — And We Need You With Us
A Fourth of July Message from Jackie on the Fight Ahead Nationally
As we head into the Fourth of July weekend, we are reminded of the freedoms we cherish as Americans, including the freedom to make informed choices about the products we use to support our health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
This community has fought hard to protect that freedom, and together, we have already shown what is possible when consumers unite and make their voices heard.
Today, that freedom faces a new challenge.
Last week, federal officials released a Notice of Intent regarding proposed emergency scheduling thresholds for 7-OH, a move that could effectively eliminate most all 7-OH products and potentially most kratom products.
We know this news is causing fear, confusion, and uncertainty for many consumers who rely on 7-OH every day.
First and most importantly, we want to be clear:
7-OH has not been immediately banned or scheduled.
There is still a process ahead. There is still time for science, evidence, and consumer voices to be heard.
And if this year has taught us anything, it is this:
When this community stands together, we can change outcomes.
We have already proven that in 2026.
Despite aggressive attacks on access across the country, this movement has delivered meaningful victories. In California, we helped stop AB 1088, a bill that would have effectively banned 7-OH products statewide. We helped defeat bans in Arizona and New Hampshire. In Delaware, we successfully pushed lawmakers toward regulation instead of prohibition.
These victories did not happen by accident.
They happened because consumers organized, spoke up, shared their stories, and refused to be ignored.
That same strength will be needed now.
A new national fight is here, and it may be the most important battle this community has faced yet.
But we have faced difficult fights before.
We have won before.
And we can win again!

Kansas and Tennessee: A Painful Reminder of What’s at Stake
While we have had so many wins this year already, unfortunately, not every battle we have been fighting has ended in victory.
Kansas and Tennessee have both enacted full bans on kratom and 7-OH products, cutting off legal access for countless consumers.
These losses are devastating.
We know many consumers are scared, frustrated, and uncertain about what comes next.
For those impacted, we encourage you to be extremely cautious when researching alternatives. Take the time to understand ingredients, sourcing, and product quality before trying anything new.
