Urgent Request to Declare a State of Emergency to Address Illegal Migration

Urgent Request to Declare a State of Emergency to Address Illegal Migration

The Issue

Dear President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa ,

We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to you as concerned citizens of the Republic of South Africa to urgently request your intervention in addressing the growing issue of illegal migration. The current situation has reached a critical point, and it is imperative that immediate and decisive action be taken to safeguard our nation's security, economy, and social stability.

Illegal migration has posed  serious threats to our country in various ways:

1. **Security Concerns**: The uncontrolled influx of undocumented individuals has posed a significant risk to our national security. The lack of proper documentation and background checks, has made it challenging to ensure that those entering our country do not have malicious intentions or criminal backgrounds.

2. **Economic Strain**: Illegal migration has placed an undue burden on our economy. Public services, including healthcare, education, and social welfare programs, are stretched thin, affecting the quality and availability of these services for our citizens. Additionally, undocumented workers have contributed to unfair labor practices and wage suppression, harming our domestic workforce.

3. **Social Impact**: The unchecked flow of illegal migrants has led to social tensions and conflicts within communities. It is essential to maintain a harmonious and cohesive society, which has become increasingly difficult with the lack of control over who enters and resides in our country.

In light of these pressing concerns, we respectfully urge you to declare a state of emergency  to address the invasion by illegal migration  In accordance of the State of Emergency Act ,1997 of section 37(2) . This declaration will enable the government to:

- Mobilize resources and personnel to enhance border security and control measures .

- Implement stricter enforcement of immigration laws and penalties for those who violate them by hiring illegal migrants.

- Increase collaboration with international partners to address the root causes of illegal migration and improve intelligence-sharing efforts.

- Allocate additional funding to support communities disproportionately affected by illegal migration, ensuring that public services remain accessible and effective to only South Africans and legal foreigners.

- We must stop accepting children of illegal immigrants in our schools, as they have not been accounted for in the state budget. This policy could also inadvertently  encourage international human trafficking by allowing unkown children to be placed in schools.

It is crucial that we take a firm and proactive stance on this issue to protect our nation's interests and ensure the well-being of our citizens who live in fear. By declaring a state of emergency, you will demonstrate a commitment to addressing this crisis and restoring public confidence in our immigration system.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to safeguard our country and its future.

Sincerely,

Patriots of South Africa
