As a regular visitor to the Decou Sports Complex - also widely known as the Garden State Rotary Sports Complex, I have witnessed firsthand the critical deficiency that plagues our beloved community hub - the complete absence of adequate public restrooms. Despite being a vibrant center for activities, with players, parents, toddlers and visiting teams from neighboring areas frequenting it daily, there are currently zero public restroom facilities available. The few mobile toilets present are insufficient and often unsanitary, posing significant health risks to users.

The lack of proper hygiene amenities is not only inconvenient but also detrimental to our community's health. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), inadequate sanitation facilities can lead to various diseases such as gastrointestinal illnesses and Hepatitis A.

Therefore, we urge Cherry Hill Township to install permanent public restroom facilities equipped with running water at Decou Sports Complex located at 470 E Evesham Road. This will not only improve the overall experience for visitors but also ensure their safety by reducing potential health risks.
