We, the undersigned, call on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate and decisive action in response to Iran’s escalating attacks targeting civilians and critical infrastructure in the Middle East.

Recent developments indicate a dangerous and sustained escalation. Coordinated attacks involving hundreds of drones and missiles have struck vital infrastructure and populated areas, resulting in civilian casualties and widespread destruction. These actions constitute a clear violation of international law and represent a direct threat to human security.

The deliberate targeting of energy facilities, industrial zones, and urban areas extends far beyond a regional crisis. It poses a serious risk to global stability. Disruptions to strategic energy and maritime routes are already impacting international trade, increasing shipping risks, and contributing to volatility in global energy markets.

In an interconnected global economy, such attacks have immediate and far-reaching consequences. They disrupt supply chains, increase transportation and production costs, and fuel inflation worldwide, affecting millions of people far beyond the region.

Despite ongoing attacks, Gulf countries have demonstrated significant restraint and a clear commitment to avoiding escalation. This responsible approach must be met with firm and decisive international action.

We therefore urge the United Nations Security Council to:
