Urgent: Save Our Youth Workers at the Harrow Club — Protect Our Young People’s Future

We are asking for urgent community support to help protect the jobs of vital youth workers at the Harrow Club.

Recent funding cuts have already had a significant impact on long-standing youth services that have supported our children and families for many years. Youth clubs have closed, activities have been reduced, and many parents are increasingly concerned about what this means for the safety, wellbeing, and future opportunities of our young people.

A proposed restructure at the Harrow Club is now underway. This could result in the loss of experienced youth workers, practitioners, and lead staff who have spent decades building trusted relationships within our community.

These roles are not easily replaced. They represent continuity, mentorship, and deep local understanding. For many young people, these staff members are trusted adults who provide guidance, stability, and a safe space during critical stages of their lives.

Losing them would mean losing years of experience, support networks, and relationships that cannot simply be rebuilt overnight.
