My 5-year-old daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia, and we both had to stop working due to the immense impact and uncertainty we face. Despite three NHS doctors confirming that LV Insurance's justification for declining our claim was incorrect, LV invalidated our claim solely because I requested an ADHD assessment—without any resulting diagnosis. This denial has left us without income protection at a critical time when state support is unavailable due to our pension setup.

We are now forced to live off our pension funds, despite having a comprehensive income protection policy for which we paid £100 a month.
