Great news! Jimmy has been released from detention and granted temporary admission to the UK. We don't have all the details but we assume that his case will now be reviewed. As I write he is on a train back from Heathrow to Manchester. Jimmy has sent a message to all his supporters: "It's good news. I've been released. I would like to thank all the good friends who have been together with us in any way." We are overwhelmed - this petition was only started 4 days ago and nearly 30,000 people have signed - thank you to everyone. It is not in the public interest to deport Jimmy and you have shown that. We are hoping that his case will now be reviewed favourably and he will be able to live in safety.
