Urge YouTube to Ban 'Make Money Matt' and other “Growth Gurus” for scammy practices

Urge YouTube to Ban 'Make Money Matt' and other “Growth Gurus” for scammy practices
The Issue
As someone who aspires to leverage the platform of YouTube to cultivate a positive digital community, I feel compelled to raise this issue. YouTube “Educator” 'Make Money Matt', also known as Matt Par, as well as Robert Benjamin have been a consistent source of disappointment and concern. Their videos, which claim to promote YouTube growth, are instead filled with misleading information and promotion of courses that are more scam than educational, such as the promotion of “YouTube Automation” which in itself is already a scam.
Matt's and Rob’s expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) means his content often pops on searches related to YouTube growth. Instead of finding genuine, helpful educational content, viewers are led astray by his deceptive videos. This not only harms individual users but also undermines the credibility of YouTube's educational video ecosystem.
They also spams ads on videos that teach you how to grow videos, and occasionally on videos that criticize them for their actions, which shows how hypocritical YouTube is on where ads are played.
YouTube has a pivotal role in the continuing growth of education and community building. It has always tried to shine light authenticity, factual accuracy, and ethical content creation. Yet, its reputation is at risk if it continues to allow content that promotes dishonest practices.
I strongly urge YouTube to investigate the content produced by 'Make Money Matt' as well as other “YouTube growth experts” and remove them if they continue to mislead viewers with scam-heavy, misleading content. Disallowing such content is a significant step to ensure the integrity of the platform.
Stand with me in this petition to protect the essence of YouTube from those who misuse it. Help us ensure that YouTube remains a reliable platform for true, helpful learning. Sign this petition, and let's stop scams from overshadowing true content.
