Urge Warner Bros. to revive “Horton Hatches the Egg” cancelled film by Blue Sky Studios
The Issue
Growing up, one of my fondest memories was watching the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss come to life in "Horton Hears a Who," especially brought to life by the incredible voice talent of Jim Carrey. His portrayal of Horton is not just entertaining but has a way of bringing joy and laughter to audiences of all ages. Imagine my excitement when I first heard that Blue Sky Studios planned to bring "Horton Hatches the Egg" to the big screen. But then, disappointment hit hard as this project seemingly vanished into thin air.
"Horton Hatches the Egg" is a classic Dr. Seuss story, rich with humor, charm, and valuable life lessons about faithfulness and responsibility. Fans, young and old, deserve this enriching experience. It's more than just another animation—it's a cherished story that teaches heartwarming moral values and ignites imaginations. Letting this project fade away would be a disservice to both young fans discovering Dr. Seuss for the first time and adults who grew up enchanted by these timeless tales.
Blue Sky Studios possesses a unique talent for bringing animated stories to life, drawing audiences into vibrant, imaginative worlds. Their interpretation of "Horton Hatches the Egg" would undoubtedly continue this legacy, ensuring Dr. Seuss's messages endure for future generations.
With Jim Carrey potentially reprising his role, the opportunity to experience Horton in an all-new venture, grasping the egg under Maisie's negligence and embarking on more delightful escapades, would be both nostalgic and fresh.
Let's urge Blue Sky Studios and the decision-makers behind this shelved project to revive "Horton Hatches the Egg" and fulfill the dreams of so many Dr. Seuss fans. By signing this petition, we can express our collective desire for more tales from this beloved universe and showcase our support for this wonderfully imaginative film adaptation.
Please join me in this campaign to bring Horton back to the big screen in a new adventure. Sign this petition and let's make our voices heard in favor of cherished storytelling and animation!
