When I first heard that the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater promised to build a Dunkin', I was thrilled. As students, having an affordable and communal cafe right on campus would be a game changer. Imagine grabbing a coffee and donuts before our 8 AM classes or having a new favorite study spot filled with the aroma of fresh brews and warm pastries. This isn't just about coffee; it's about community.

A Dunkin’ on campus would serve as a hub for students to collaborate, connect, and recharge. Having a place that’s both popular and convenient can significantly enhance our college experience, offering us both a slice of comfort and a productive environment. Plus, Dunkin’ is known for its affordability, making a real difference in our wallets.

The plan for a Dunkin’ was announced, and there was palpable excitement across campus. Yet, despite the initial promise, we are still waiting. Many of us envisioned this Dunkin' as a place where we could gather, especially before those daunting early morning classes, or take a much-needed break between study sessions.

The University's promise means a lot to us and fulfilling it would show that our voices and needs as students truly matter. UW-Whitewater has the opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to its student body by making this project a reality.
