With masters in International Relations and International Law, I have been closely observing the global political landscape. I am deeply concerned about the current situation in the Middle East, particularly the ongoing Israel-Hamas War. The United States, as a key player on the international stage, has a significant role to play in ending this crisis.

The recent bombings of Gaza by Israel are alarming and require immediate action from world leaders. According to data from news agencies and human rights groups worldwide, these attacks have resulted in thousands of civilian casualties, the majority of which are women and children, which is unacceptable under any circumstance.

Furthermore, it is my belief that without diplomatic discussions between the U.S. and major global powers Russia and China, there is an imminent risk of this conflict escalating into a regional or even global war with devastating consequences. The U.S., often considered as the only superpower by its leadership, should take responsibility for initiating these crucial conversations.

This petition calls upon you - citizens of conscience - to urge the US President to put pressure on Israel to cease its bombing activities on Gaza immediately, and for a ceasefire to be agreed. Additionally, we must insist that the US President initiates diplomatic dialogues with Russia and China aimed at bringing an end to this dangerous conflict.
