Two Tails Ranch, Aka, All About Elephants. Elephant giving rides and Patricia Zerbini wielding the weapon called a bull hook. This VIOLATES Tripadvisor’s own Animal Welfare Guidelines!

ACTION!!!  Sign the PETITION!
Tripadvisor (TA), STILL HAS Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants (TTR: AAE), listed on their website as a recommended travel destination!

After the FACE team spoke with a Tripadvisor representative over a month ago, with the representative himself stating that he agreed to our request to REMOVE Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants listing from their recommended places to visit, AND their own statement "This Facility Does NOT Meet Tripadvisor's Animal Welfare Guidelines" posted on the Two Tails Ranch listing, THEY HAVE RETURNED the listing to their website and removed the Animal Welfare Guideline not meeting their standards statement. WHY???

Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants violates Tripadvisor's OWN Animal Welfare Guidelines as stated clearly on their website!

Tripadvisor - Our Animal Welfare Policy:
Animal Welfare Policy - Tripadvisor

Direct wording taken from their Animal Welfare Policy:
“Any feeding or touching program in a captive environment, conducted under the supervision of zoo and or wildlife officials, where physical interaction is initiated by the animals themselves as a natural behavior (i.e. the animals are not drugged, baited or intimidated into compliance) and where those animals can disengage from contact at will.

Shows and Performances
Tripadvisor will not sell tickets to, or generate revenue from, specific experiences where captive wild or endangered animals are forced to perform demeaning tricks or other unnatural behaviors in front of the general public, or where they are featured as part of a live circus or stage entertainment act in a demeaning manner (including imitating humans, such as dressing up in costume).

Demeaning acts are defined as those where an animal may be either drugged or forcibly trained to behave or comply in an unnatural way, and which do not provide either necessary stimulation, exercise or veterinary care to that animal."

We need to let Tripadvisor know that Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants, (TTR: AAE), SHOULD NOT BE A RECOMMENDED travel destination and for it to be REMOVED from their website immediately.

Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants rent out their elephants to traveling circuses, weddings and other public entertainment attractions where the elephants are forced to give rides, participate in performances, partake in photo opportunities and otherwise interact with people under the threat of the weapon called a bull hook.  The elephants do not have a choice and are forced into these situations without the opportunity to stop if they wanted to. At TTR: AAE, the elephants are forced to give rides, paint, participate in feeding encounters, photo ops, lie down to be scrubbed, bathed and otherwise forced to interact with the public with direct contact. Their enclosures are exceedingly small and offer no space for elephants to naturally roam as needed to facilitate their natural movements to maintain proper muscle and joint health. The elephants display stereotypical behavior, with no enrichment to keep their highly intelligent minds occupied. The owner, Patricia Zerbini, has a circus background where elephants are used in traveling acts and are forced to obey under the threat of a bull hook. She rents out her elephants from TTR: AAE to be used in this manner. Patty, one of her elephants, is presently on the road traveling with Loomis Bros. Circus giving rides and performing in a circus ring. (7/12/2025).

Under the Tripadvisor’s own Animal Welfare Guidelines, it states, “Any feeding or touching program in a captive environment, conducted under the supervision of zoo and or wildlife officials, where physical interaction is initiated by the animals themselves as a natural behavior (i.e. the animals are not drugged, baited or intimidated into compliance) and where those animals can disengage from contact at will.

TOGETHER, our VOICES can be used to bring the right changes to make this a better world for ELEPHANTS.

Note: Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants is the facility that now boards Asha. She was illegally transferred to Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants on 11/30/2023 from The Natural Bridge Zoo. Asha had been held in captivity at this zoo for 40 years of her life since age two. She is currently 42. This zoo was raided by the Virginia Attorney General’s Office Animal Law Unit on 12/6/2023 based on animal cruelty charges. Asha would have been seized and sent to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee had she been on property. Instead, she languishes at Two Tails Ranch: All About Elephants. Free All Captive Elephants paid a visit to TTR: AAE in September of 2024. We found Asha in an extremely small enclosure set in the back of the facility displaying stereotypical behavior for the entire time we were there for over two hours. She was standing in a cloud of smoke where they were burning some type of substance. She was also missing her left tusk. According to Patricia Zerbini, the tusk broke off from Asha’s own doing. We filed a complaint with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. They went out to follow up on our complaint but found NOTHING in violation or concern. We continue to fight for Asha’s freedom to true sanctuary. Read more about Asha on the Free All Captive Elephants’ Website:
