Hello again Thurrock folks. 

Greetings to you all, especially those who have taken time to sign the Online petition and those who signed the paper petition as well. 

The date for the presentation is the 27th of June which would be the next Full Council meeting and I will be presenting the petition at that meeting. There is a possibility that because of the elections coming up the meeting may be postponed to a later date but I will be informed if that happens to be the case. 

In the meantime, I have drawn up the petition which I will be presenting at the Full Council meeting. Nearer the time I will share that presentation with you so that we are all informed as to what will be presented to Council.  
In the meantime let us keep up the pressure by signing the online petition which at the moment stands at 3296 and if we can get that figure to 3500 before the 27th,  that will be just great.   The paper signatures we have are sufficient to trigger a debate in Council and after the presentation, we should hear from them within a month.
