Update 3 - Signatures for petition - Thurrock Council presentation. 

Many thanks to all those who have graciously signed the signature documents I sent out by email or in person. The response is both gratifying and encouraging. What we are demonstrating here is the commitment to put the “Interest of the Community” above all else and demonstrate that commitment by appending your signatures. Fantastic. Thank you all so very much for believing in and also for supporting the petition. I cannot thank you enough. 

Our next steps - sending in the petition and waiting for an acknowledgement from council with a confirmation that we can present the petition to the Full Council meeting in June with the opportunity of speaking to council at the same meeting. 

I will further update you when this leg is achieved and point our direction in the next and hopefully, final steps. 

In the meantime, please continue to sign the online petition so that we get the number to 5000 before the date of the meeting. At today’s date, we are 2978. More signatures mean a definite positive response to our petition.
