As someone who firmly stands with Israel, I believe it is critical to have balanced, fair reporting and representation when it comes to human rights issues in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967. I request your help in petitioning the UN to consider the replacement of Francesca Albanese, the current Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories. This action is not about personal prejudice against Ms. Albanese, but rather about ensuring an unbiased approach to such a critical issue. 

According to the United Nations Protocol, a Special Rapporteur must have "moral integrity" and "independence and impartiality as immediate conditions" for their position (United Nations Human Rights Council). However, there have been concerns regarding Ms. Albanese's impartiality and her approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For instance, she has been accused of demonstrating bias against Israel, with reports suggesting she has participated in events hosted by organizations linked to terror groups and has labeled convicted terrorists as "human rights defenders" in her reports to the UN Human Rights Council . Additionally, there's been controversy over her alleged misuse of funds from pro-Hamas groups for a lobbying trip to Australia . 
 

We need a representative who will provide a fair, balanced perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian scenario, ensuring that every narrative is justly presented.
