Florida has become a focal point for severe humanitarian rights concerns under the leadership of Governor Ron DeSantis, Brevard’s Governor Randy Fine, and Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo. Their policies have raised alarm bells due to their anti-vaxxer stance, anti-transgender policies, and TERF influences which have contributed to a troubling socio-political climate. 

Governor DeSantis, along with his administration, has been instrumental in promoting and implementing laws that not only undermine the rights and safety of transgender individuals but also exacerbate healthcare and housing crises. These leaders' actions and policies have been detrimental to the residents of Florida, leading to what many perceive as an intentional collapse of essential systems including healthcare and housing.

Hormone and surgery denial, "gatekeeping", forced retention of unwanted gonads and reproductive organs, and even threatening to kidnap transgender children into alleged camps to "protect them" are just a handful of the extremist policies created and supported by malignant narcissistic TERFs such as DeSantis among others.

Transgender surgery patients are forced to sign a misleading "informed consent paper(s)" that discourages and demonizes gender affirming surgery with TERF-aligned misinformation and fabricated/massively over-exaggerated "dangers of transgender surgery".

Desantis and Ladapo have promoted and demanded that healthcare providers and doctors statewide be allowed to deny and refuse to provide hormones and surgical treatments aligned with transgender identity, leading to increases in neglect-induced mental and physical health crises in an already-marginalized group statewide.

Florida has reversed all vaccine mandates under DeSantis and Ladapo, leading to outbreaks of potentially fatal contagious illnesses such as measles (polio could be next) especially in babies and children and the unvaxxed.

Florida's entire healthcare and dentistry system (and education system) is on the brink of collapse from MAGA/MAHA policies' detrimental effects on healthcare and education.
The policies enforced by Ron DeSantis' administration have drawn criticism from both national and international human rights entities. For instance, the state's formidable resistance to enforce vaccine mandates during a global pandemic has compromised public health. Additionally, their legislation and rhetoric against transgender individuals are not only oppressive but in violation of basic human rights principles, thus necessitating immediate action.

Florida's economy, heavily reliant on tourism, is suffering from these detrimental policies. Tourists and residents alike are voicing concerns over the state's aggressive policies that do not just alienate a section of the population but also paint a hostile picture to international onlookers. The urgency for change is evident as these policies threaten to alienate diverse groups, jeopardizing Florida’s standing as a welcoming travel destination.

In the face of these violations, it's imperative that the White House and U.S. Senate act promptly. We propose emergency orders to address these humanitarian rights violations and hold accountable the leadership responsible for these policies. This includes the removal and judicial consideration of Ron DeSantis, Randy Fine, James Fishback, and Joseph Ladapo's roles in perpetuating these crises.
