Urge the U.S. President to protect civilians in Iran

Urge the U.S. President to protect civilians in Iran
The Issue
A single decision could cost countless innocent lives.
Recent statements by Donald Trump, including a warning that "a whole civilization will die tonight," have intensified those fears.
Civilians are not targets. Families, children, hospitals, water systems, and homes are not instruments of war. Yet history shows that when conflicts escalate, it is ordinary people who suffer the most.
Destroying civilian infrastructure does not just win battles, it destroys lives. It leaves families without water, electricity, healthcare, and shelter. It turns conflict into humanitarian catastrophe.
International law, including the Geneva Conventions, exists for this reason: to protect civilians and prevent indiscriminate destruction. The United States must uphold these principles, not move away from them.
We believe America is strongest when it protects life, not when it risks destroying it.
There are better paths forward, through restraint, diplomacy, and responsible leadership.
We call on the President and the administration to:
- Not target civilian populations
- Not destroy civilian infrastructure
- Choose de-escalation and diplomacy over destruction
After signing, contact the White House and make your voice heard:

History will remember the choices made in moments like this. Let those choices reflect humanity, restraint, and respect for life.
