As a close friend to a former colleague of Dawn Gallagher Murphy, who faced bullying and harassment, I am deeply perturbed that such behaviour is taking place in an area meant to uphold respect, integrity and exemplary conduct. Unfortunately, the incumbent PC Candidate, Dawn Gallagher Murphy is embroiled in multiple accusations of workplace harassment, with as many as eight employees who have accused her of bullying and intimidation. Such actions are not just morally reprehensible but also in direct violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code. Handpicked for our riding, it is alarming to see such a disregard for ethical conduct from our representatives.

By February 13, 2025, I call upon the Premier to replace Dawn Gallagher Murphy as our PC candidate. It would be a step forward in affirming that our elected officials are expected to respect human rights and ensure a safe work environment free from harassment and bullying.
