Urge the Pokemon Company for Linux support of Pokemon TCG Live

The Issue

Many users, including myself, have been switching over to Linux from Windows and Mac.

Linux provides us with the flexibility, security, and customizability that we crave in our digital experiences. However, one significant setback is the lack of support for some of our favorite applications and games. Pokemon TCG Live is one such beloved game that lacks a native Linux client, despite its strong potential to cater to Linux users easily.

And tbh Windows has just kinda sucked lately..

The development environment of Pokemon TCG Live is conducive to building a native Linux version. The game's architecture can effortlessly support Linux with just a bit of effort from the developers. An increasing number of people worldwide are embracing Linux, with an estimated 3% of global desktop users (Source: StatCounter) now operating on a Linux distribution. Providing a native Linux version of Pokemon TCG Live would not only enhance user satisfaction but also expand the game's reach to a wider audience.

As technology advances, the demand for versatile software that can operate seamlessly across various operating systems becomes more pronounced. Ensuring that avid players, regardless of their preferred OS, can enjoy Pokemon TCG Live is a step towards inclusivity and adaptability.

We call on The Pokemon Company to harness this opportunity to support the growing Linux community by developing a native version of Pokemon TCG Live for Linux. Let’s make Pokemon TCG Live a more universally accessible game and enrich the gameplay experience for all.
