November 14, 2025, Update for Urge EPA & MoDOT to Construct a Sound Wall Along I-270

I mailed Governor Mike Kehoe a certified letter (titled Notice of Intent to Pursue the Issue of Sound Mitigation) on November 13, 2025. This seventy-six-page letter/document includes a twenty-eight-page letter, exhibits of MoDOT Traffic Noise Policy, a letter written by Ed Hassinger, Director of MoDOT, the Petition on Change.org, a list of supporters (with the supporters’ names replaced by a numerical identifier), and supporters’ Stories/Comments.
The twenty-eight-page letter is an appeal with supporting information. In this letter, I ask, “Governor Kehoe, can you please exercise your executive authority to direct MoDOT to conduct sound studies in accordance with federal and state regulations along northbound I-270 from Olive Boulevard near Creve Coeur to Page Avenue near Maryland Heights, Missouri?” On November 17, 2025, as a follow-up and inclusion of other state officials, I will email the 76-page letter and exhibits to Honorable Kehoe, the Honorable Page, the Honorable McCreery, and the Honorable Appelbaum.
I received an email from Senator Josh Hawley on November 13, 2025, in response to my letter dated July 3, 2025.
I appreciate your support!
Janet
