Update October 2, 2025 - Urge the EPA & MoDOT to Construct Sound Walls along I-270 for Noise Reduction
I have 767 supporters on the petition “Urge the EPA & MoDOT to Construct Sound Walls along I-270 for Noise Reduction.” The 77% positive success rate achieved in collecting signatures, combined with my lack of success in finding a lawyer to write a 60-day letter of intent to sue, has motivated me to draft the intent to sue letter. After speaking with and receiving advice from Rick Reibstein (Chair, Quiet Community Legal Advisory Committee), I need to gather facts, stories, and attestations of the effects of I-270 and noise pollution on the health and welfare of impacted individuals. I am hopeful that the supporters of this petition are willing to share their comments regarding the noise pollution from I-270, which will allow me to include them in my 60-day intent to sue letter. Please mail (email or post) your comments about the impact of I-270 noise on you and your family using:

I extend my heartfelt thanks to each supporter.
Mr. Richard “Rick” Reibstein, your advice, praise, and encouragement have given me the extra inspiration to pursue the goal of sound mediation along I-270. Thank you.

The fight to mitigate hazardous noise pollution along I-270 must start somewhere. I am fighting for sound mitigation to improve our environment, health, and well-being!
