Debuting on September 25, 2018, and ending after three unforgettable seasons on December 7, 2023, Hilda's captivating storytelling and character development entranced young and mature audiences alike. Notably, Bella Ramsay, who would later assume the role of Ellie Williams in the live-action TV series adaptation of 'The Last of Us' since 2023, graced our screens as the breathtaking voice behind our beloved Hilda.

This animated series is not just another cartoon show, it has educational and entertainment value that cannot be undermined, yet, unfortunately, its significance has been somewhat overlooked. Despite a presumption that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment holds the home media distribution rights to the show since the acquisition of the show's production company, Silvergate Media since December 2019 by Sony Pictures Television, recent information from MovieZyng (Allied Vaughn) opposes this belief, sparking uncertainty among me as a fan of the show (and likely fans who would want to get a physical copy of the show one day)

Considering the powerful impact that Hilda has had on its avid viewers, access to the entire series should not be an arduous process. Thus, this petition seeks to encourage Sony Pictures to negotiate with Netflix, and if necessary, initiate the release of the complete series of 'Hilda' on DVD & Blu-ray. This action will not only please the dedicated fandom but also enable the preservation and more importantly, further distribution of this universally-loved animation.
