The ongoing crisis in Gaza has reached an unprecedented level of dehumanization, with an alarming magnitude of human rights violations against Palestinians. For over four months, we've been live streaming the genocide, witnessing hundreds of men, women, and children being starved and killed daily! It might not be mainstream newsworthy, but it's a horrifying reality that demands immediate action.

We call upon Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez to use her influence and urgently demand a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. The violence must stop immediately to allow trucks at the border to provide desperately needed humanitarian aid.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports that 1.4 million people in Gaza are food insecure due to blockades (source: UNCHA). This is more than half of Gaza's population, which suffers from hunger every day because they can't access basic necessities.

Rep. Perez, your constituents in Southwest Washington, urge you to take action now on this pressing issue that deeply affects us all as global citizens committed to human rights and dignity for all people.
