We call upon our university in Doha, Qatar (Qatar University), to take a stand against the ongoing genocide of our Palestinian brothers and sisters in the occupied territories of Palestine by boycotting businesses that support the zionist regime, Israel. This includes closing on-campus restaurants that back these policies and replacing the products offered in vending machines to exclude those from companies supporting the Zionist regime. The United Nations has reported numerous violations of international law by Israel (source: UN reports), making it crucial for institutions worldwide to use their influence and economic power responsibly. By making this change, our university can join others globally who have chosen not just to educate but also act ethically and promote peace.
