Three days ago, our family had to make an incredibly tough decision. Our beloved cat, Smokey, had to be placed in a shelter because the temporary location we are staying at does not allow pets. This has been a heart-wrenching experience, not only for us but also for Smokey, who is now in an unfamiliar environment away from the love, care, and familiarity of her home. For anyone who has ever owned a pet, you know they are more than just animals—they’re family.

Luckily, we’re just weeks away from settling into a new apartment where Smokey can join us once more. However, until that date, we're desperately seeking an alternative to ensure that Smokey is in a comfortable, safe, and loving environment.
