This is all opinion based.

The digital community thrives on open dialogue, diversity of thought, and the free exchange of ideas. Recognizing this, I am urging Paul Tassi, a respected voice in gaming journalism and digital media, to keep his decision to block SmashJT on social media platforms.

SmashJT hasn't contributed significantly to discussions around video games, consumer rights, and digital culture. By blocking him it stops him from (in our opinion) harassing people. It is our opinion that these platforms should be spaces where diverse voices can discuss and critique without harassment based on things like having pronouns and being apart of/ supporting LGBTQ+ or being a person of colour.

There was no misunderstanding that led to this block. As a community, we think it's crucial to prioritize conversations that bring us together rather than divide us and divide is all SmashJT does being (in our opinion) a bigot. He has no understanding of key aspects of any thriving community, particularly when opinions and interests diverge.

Additionally, SmashJT owes his audience a complete playthrough of Dustborn, a commitment to his followers who expect him to deliver this content as part of his channel's ongoing series. By no means is it something Paul Tassi promised. SmashJT already owns Dustborn, so no new sale would be made.

Social media and content creation are realms where creators and audiences often intersect, encouraging collaboration and innovation. Blocking (in our opinion) grifters such as SmashJT encourages more to do so and should stop his grift.

We kindly request Paul Tassi to keep SmashJT blocked to benefit the community at large. Please sign this petition to support a move towards stopping harassment to developers, journos and gamers.
