Urge Nintendo to add a photo mode to BotW and TotK Switch 2 Editions

Urge Nintendo to add a photo mode to BotW and TotK Switch 2 Editions

The Issue

In the world of gaming, visual experiences are as crucial as the gameplay itself. When I first stepped into the vast and breathtaking landscapes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and later in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I was amazed by the intricate details and the stunning vistas these games offer. Many players and I find immense joy and satisfaction in capturing these moments, creating personal memories within the gaming universe.

However, the absence of a dedicated photo mode in these beloved titles in the new Nintendo Switch 2 Editions limits our ability to fully appreciate and relive the beauty of our adventures. Many gamers share this sentiment and long for the ability to freeze time in these richly designed environments, explore favorite locales, and share stunning snapshots from our journeys.

Take Super Mario Odyssey as an example, that game had a photo mode and it was excellent, the filters, the free roam and more. It's beloved by the community.

Nintendo has a history of enhancing player experience and with the new Nintendo Switch 2, there's an opportunity to add a new layer of immersion and creativity by implementing a Photo Mode in these games. Photographic modes have become a staple in many modern games, allowing players to unleash their creativity and engage with the game on a deeper level.

The inclusion of a Photo Mode would not only satisfy a large portion of the Zelda fanbase but also serve as a tool for creative expression while celebrating the artistic achievements of the game's designers. Features such as adjustable camera angles, filters, and the ability to highlight specific details would make the games more interactive and enjoyable.

Join us in urging Nintendo to consider the wishes of its dedicated fanbase and add a Photo Mode in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch 2 Editions. By doing so, they would enhance the player experience and uphold their commitment to innovation and entertainment excellence. Sign the petition if you believe in capturing and preserving the wonder of Hyrule for all to cherish.
