I lost my Minecraft account because I was not using Minecraft during the migration period, and I was unaware that I would lose something that I assumed I owned during the time I was away. It felt borderline illegal, and I was devastated that I lost what held so many memories and sentimentalities for me. And I'm not the only one who has suffered because of this.

Many players found themselves physically incapable of migrating their Mojang accounts into Microsoft ones. Whether this be due to technical issues, losing an email, having been in a coma, or just not hearing about it in general. And this shouldn't have even been an issue in the first place, because something you bought should not be ripped away from you.

This petition calls on Microsoft to allow people to use their Mojang accounts once again, or at the very least, offer continuous support to those needing assistance in migrating accounts they previously lost access to due to the Migration.

Trust that players had for the game were lost when an assumed hundreds of thousands of people could no longer continue playing Minecraft due to this migration. Anyone who wanted to continue playing the game had to buy it again, not even able to keep the same gamertag they had before, many of these names holding sentimental value to the players. And those who couldn't pay for the game again had to bear it, there being nothing they could do.

So please.

Please sign this petition to urge Microsoft to change, to fix the wrong that these players went through. The money, the memories, the fun that were all robbed from them when they no longer could have what they thought they already owned.
