We're writing as everyday citizens who've seen how the public backlash over Muizz's relationship with Easha Ashraf has weighed on him. He's human—like the rest of us—and deserves love, companionship, and the space to pursue happiness.
 
Yet the strain of this personal matter has rippled into all our lives. Journalists are being arrested and voices silenced. Credit card limits have made simple purchases—from Temu, AliExpress, even local shops—suddenly difficult. Small businesses are losing customers, families are tightening belts, and uncertainty is spreading.
 
Much of this unrest seems to stem from the rejection of his wish to marry Easha. That's why we respectfully ask you, Madam Saajidha: for the sake of ordinary people and the stability of our communities, please consider extending compassion and allowing this marriage to proceed.
 
We believe that with understanding, the chaos can subside, press freedom can be restored, the economy can stabilize, and peace can return.
