Urge Keystone First and AmeriHealth Caritas PA to Keep CHOP in Network

The Issue

The Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP) is a world-renowned institution that has been serving the community for over 160 years. It is ranked among the top children's hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, providing exceptional pediatric healthcare and advancing medical research (source: U.S. News & World Report). However, Keystone First and AmeriHealth Caritas PA are considering removing CHOP from their medical network if they can't come to an agreement with contract negotiations by June 30th, 2024.

This decision could potentially affect thousands of families across Pennsylvania who rely on these insurers for their children’s healthcare needs. In 2019 alone, CHOP had over 1 million outpatient visits and more than 31,000 hospital admissions (source: CHOP Annual Report). Removing such a critical resource from the network would limit access to quality pediatric care for countless children.

We urge Keystone First and AmeriHealth Caritas PA to come to an agreement and keep CHOP within their network. This action will ensure that our children continue receiving top-quality medical care without any unnecessary disruptions or burdens on families already dealing with health concerns.

Please sign this petition to show your support for keeping Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania accessible through Keystone First and AmeriHealth Caritas PA insurance plans.
