The southern border of our country is facing an unprecedented crisis from an INVASION and undermines our national security as a direct result of our federal government failing to uphold its Constitutional duty in Article IV, Section 4, by protecting the states from an invasion. Therefore, the Governor of each state can use their state's Constitutional power to safeguard our borders and restore our national security with the National Guard (militia). This is why we have a National Guard; it is We The People’s militia to protect us from threats both domestic and foreign.

Most citizens want something to be done about the border, but don't know what to do. This petition is the start of the solution. We must demand that our Governor, and all the Governors in our country, send their National Guard to the border immediately. There are about 400,000 active National Guard and only 1,300 were sent to the border! In 2005, after hurricane Katrina, there were 50,000 Guardsmen on the ground in the gulf. This is the type of response we need. We are living in a STATE OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY and our Governors are not acting accordingly.

We The People must close the border, stop the illegal crossings of unknown threats, and secure it until we restore a federal government that abides by our Constitution. 

Our country’s founders and their communities created the states. The states created the federal government with specific powers and duties as described in the Constitution, but the states were supposed to be the checks and balances of power for our “limited federal government”. The time is now and the responsibility is ours to take corrective action. We must demand action from the heads of our states, our Governors, and see that they restore a balance of power and end the invasion on our southern border.

Our corrupt federal government has sent over $100 BILLION to Ukraine, yet they underfund our soldiers on the southern border and assist with the illegal immigration invasion. If we are going to spend tax payer money on a military operation, I think it should be to protect the border that surrounds our nation. 

America and her children need your help to spread this request and message across your entire community, to every friend, family member, and co-worker. Bring it up at the coffee shop, at lunch, at dinner, at the bar, in the gym, at the PTA meeting, at your church or temple, talk about it everywhere and see how many people agree with you. You’ll be shocked to find most people on both sides of the isle want it to end, but just don’t know how to do it. 

The deployment of the National Guard can provide much-needed support to manage this crisis effectively. They are trained professionals who can assist with creating a defensive perimeter on our border, provide surveillance and other critical tasks that are currently overwhelming local law enforcement agencies. Acting at the request of a Governor the National Guard can properly fortify the border to prevent anyone from coming into our country and stand up to our criminally behaving federal government as they fail to uphold their Constitutional duties.  

We believe that it is within the power of our state Governors to authorize such deployment as part of their responsibility towards maintaining public safety. We urge them to take immediate action by sending our National Guard troops to secure the southern border.
