The Issue

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation made the poor decision to close Six Flags America & Hurricane Harbor in 2025. For 51 years, the park offered thrilling rides and attractions, provided countless summer jobs, and helped create irreplaceable memories for both residents and visitors alike.

However, it was recently announced that the Six Flags will be selling seven of its parks off to eal estate investment trust called EPR Properties. And Enchanted Parks LLC will be operating 6 of the 7 recently acquired parks. So let's urge EPR to buy Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor, and bring the park back from permanent closure.

The recently sold Six Flags parks are:

Michigan’s Adventure (Muskegon, MI)
Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston (Galveston, TX)
Six Flags Great Escape (Queensbury, NY)
Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC)
Six Flags St. Louis (St. Louis, MO)
Valleyfair (Minneapolis, MN)
Worlds of Fun (Kansas City, MO)

So adding Six Flags America would make a perfect addition to EPR's portfolio. It would add another park to the east coast right outside of interstate 95 - making it very convenient and easy to travel to for anyone living in neighboring states like Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, North Carolina. Plus, its close proximity to both Washington D.C. and Baltimore, and their airports, makes it ideal for anyone traveling further distances.

AND Six Flags America is home to the oldest wooden roller coaster in the world - The Wild One. Wouldn't that also be an incredible addition to your portfolio EPR? Think about it.

For 51 years, Six Flags America in Maryland has been a source of joy, wonder, and community spirit. From its beginnings as The Largo Wildlife Preserve, to its transformation into Wild World and Adventure World, and finally becoming Six Flags America, this beloved amusement park has been a historic symbol of family entertainment and fun. This closure threatens not only our cherished traditions but also poses a significant impact on the local economy and job market. Closing the park means not only losing a fun escape but also losing the jobs that hundreds of locals depend on every year.

So, let's do the right thing EPR. BUY THIS PARK AND REOPEN IT
