The Issue

I am a resident of Donegal, Ireland, and I am deeply concerned about the increasing evidence showing that weed killer is damaging to our health and devastating to our environment. Our local council are still using these harmful substances, despite the mounting evidence against them.

Studies have shown that glyphosate, a common ingredient in many weed killers, has been linked to cancer and other serious health conditions (source: International Agency for Research on Cancer). Furthermore, these chemicals can seep into our water supplies and harm local wildlife (source: Environmental Protection Agency).

Our beautiful county of Donegal should be a safe haven for its residents and native species alike. We must urge our local councils to stop using weed killer immediately in order to protect our health and preserve our environment.

Please sign this petition today if you agree that it's time for change. Let's work together for a healthier future in Donegal!
