Urge Disney to continue Daredevil Born Again
The Issue
Daredevil Born Again Season 3 has no real reason as to why it should be cancelled.
I first started watching Daredevil when I was 7 years old. Ever since then, I have grown to love the character and the show more than you can imagine. The show has had a great impact over my life. Going through personal difficulties never felt so bad when I turned on an episode of Daredevil. This character has had such a large impact on people across the world.
In late November of 2018, the Netflix show Daredevil got cancelled. I was young at the time and was completely heartbroken. The feeling of not knowing if you will ever see your favorite characters again with some of the best casting was truly devastating. Fans across the world were also in distraught. Daredevil is a symbol of hope and change that everyone can look up to. Being one of marvels first disabled character; fans quickly felt betrayed that this character was at risk of never being seen again.
Years and years passed by while fans (like me) begged and pleaded for Marvel to make a change and allow Daredevil into the MCU. With the Spider-Man: No way Home release, the community was ecstatic to see Matt Murdock and Peter Parker be on screen together. This gave hope to Daredevil fans that we were finally getting what we deserved.
On July 23, 2022 at the San Diego Comic Con Panel, Daredevil : Born Again was announced. The fandom cried in happiness-finally getting what we wanted. I remember that day so vividly and how happy i was that my all time favorite character was coming back.
When season 1 of ddba dropped, everyone was so happy to have what we had wished for back. Daredevil is one of the MCU's oldest character. Charlie Cox also has the most screen time throughout MCU history. Further proving that Daredevil is a fan favorite character.
Today, September 21st, 2026, Daredevil born Again season 4 has been cancelled. The sadness I have felt learning this news takes me right back to when i was younger. Daredevil is an admirable, fan adored character that should be on the bottom of the list for getting cancelled.
