There has been a spate of defections from the Conservatives to Reform at the local council level recently. I expect this will continue to happen more and more and there will likely be some MPs also. As I've said before, at what point will we end up with a different party governing us without any elections happening? And is that democracy? I'm convinced there needs to be a national campaign to fight this subversion. I just need to find some time...

The interview I did for ITV news aired on Monday in conjunction with a wider piece from the area and tying in with the Conservative Party Conference. I don't think any particularly enjoys seeing themselves through the lens of the TV camera including me.
