I am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with Congressman Steve Womack’s recent actions, particularly his support for the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). As an elected representative of Arkansas’s Third Congressional District, I have personally reached out to him, voicing my concerns about the inclusion of the "United States–Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative" within the act. According to reputable sources, the fiscal allocations for initiatives like this can run into billions of dollars, funds that could be better employed addressing local challenges—benefiting Arkansas residents directly. When elected officials ignore the voices of those they represent, it threatens the very foundations of our democracy. It is essential for our representatives to maintain transparency, responsibility, and accountability in their decision-making processes. Womack's decision, therefore, is not just a singular event but a pattern that cannot continue unchecked.

It is time for Congressman Womack to step aside and allow someone willing to genuinely listen and act upon the concerns of Arkansas’s Third District to lead. We need a representative committed to addressing local issues, strengthening our community, and fostering an environment where every voice matters.
