I am calling on our elected officials to decriminalize the possession, growing, sharing, and personal use of psychedelic plants and fungi and end the senseless prosecution of these victimless "crimes".

I urge our federal legislators to deschedule all naturally occurring forms psilocybin/psilocin, DMT, mescaline, and ibogaine from the list of controlled substances.

Per the definition of schedule 1 substances, it is clear these have been wrongly classified, as none have been found to "be habit forming and all have been reported to have a high potential for therapeutic and medical use."

Furthermore, the criminalization of these substances "endowed by the creator" is a direct violation of the personal and religious freedoms this country was founded on.

As such, the equitable access to these gifts from nature should be a HUMAN RIGHT available to all people regardless of identity, income, or access to healthcare.

Therefore, we aim to reclaim our right to grow, gather, and gift these sacred entheogens in a way that supports our local communities, without the risk of criminal prosecution.
