BGSU recently announced that it partnered with Meta and received a  Meta Data Center Community Action Grant to help incorporate AI into university curriculum. (see https://www.instagram.com/p/DYh9rX-iQgX/ ). In addition to incorporating AI into curriculums, this grant serves to create a new "AI Degree."

   BGSU, a school with a large arts program, should not bend to large AI companies. AI waters down the arts. Meta's grant serves to push their agenda and pad BGSU executives' salaries. It does not benefit students.
