The planning application for the Goole Hub has been approved by the Western Area Planning Subcommittee of East Riding Council (see: https://www.eastriding.gov.uk/news/article/?entry=65a50a82065005be35a9c14a 

While the refurbishment of the Leisure Centre is undoubtedly welcome among users (though there have been criticisms of some aspects) it’s very hard to find library and museum users who are happy with moving the library from the town centre out to the leisure centre - they seem to be adamantly against it.

Another example of East Riding Council doing as it pleases regardless of what Goole residents want.
