As a passionate car enthusiast and loyal customer of Audi, I am deeply concerned about the discontinuation of the RS6 model in North America. With no clear indication if an RS7 Avant will replace it, I believe it is only fair for us, the US market consumers, to have access to other high-performance models such as the new RS5 Avant.

The RS5 Avant is a remarkable vehicle that combines performance with practicality. It features a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 444 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque (source: Car and Driver). This powertrain allows it to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just under four seconds - an impressive feat for any vehicle class. This is also for the current/past generation, the new generation is expected to be a PHEV (plug in hybrid) with more power.

Yet despite its performance credentials, the RS5 Avant remains practical for daily use with its spacious interior and ample cargo space. It's not just a car; it's a lifestyle choice that reflects our passion for driving and our appreciation for quality engineering.

By not offering this model in North America, Audi risks alienating loyal customers who value both performance and practicality. Moreover, they miss out on potential sales opportunities as there is clearly demand within this market segment.

We urge Audi to reconsider their decision and introduce the new RS5 Avant into North American markets. By doing so, they would not only satisfy existing customers but also attract new ones who are looking for high-performance vehicles with everyday usability.
