Urge Asda to Improve Store Conditions and Maintain Professionalism

The Issue

I am a frequent customer of Asda's Bishopbriggs, Glasgow location. Recently, along with other constituents, I have become increasingly dissatisfied with the conditions we encounter. Time and again, we find ourselves traversing through dirty floors and navigating around a maze of scattered stock boxes. The pizza counter, once our favourite go-to, now only sports inflated prices that disappoint us rather than delight. Moreover, bare shelves have become an unnerving commonality.

Similar stores in our community, like Morrisons, have updated their practices and prioritised creating cleaner, organised, and more user-oriented environments. Our expectation is that Asda follows suit.

Given the status of Asda as the third-largest supermarket in the UK, holding a 15.1% share of the grocery market (as per The Guardian's retail sector analysis, 2020), these issues seem unprecedented within such a leading retail store.

Hence, we are urging Asda to not only restore the Bishopbriggs store's professionalism and sanitation but also revise their product pricing strategy. We want to continue supporting Asda as our local store, but they must accommodate the same standard of service that competitors like Morrisons provide.

We insist that Asda address these valid concerns, as the store's current condition is unrepresentative of its potential to offer quality customer service and satisfaction. Therefore, we urge fellow Bishopbriggs residents to sign this petition, compelling Asda to reinstate their store into a reputable and enjoyable grocery outfit. Please sign and share this petition; your involvement makes a significant difference.
