As a Jewish individual, I hold deep respect for Israel, but my concern extends equally to the preservation of innocent lives and fostering a civilized world. The ongoing conflict in Gaza and the West Bank has led to an alarming number of civilian casualties. It is with this heavy heart that I write this petition.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that in 2021 alone, there were 77 fatalities among Palestinians due to conflict-related violence. This statistic does not include those who have been displaced or whose lives have been disrupted by the ongoing hostilities.

Drawing parallels from recent history, when Russia invaded Ukraine, neighboring countries opened their borders to Ukrainian civilians fleeing from war. This act of humanity saved countless lives and provided refuge for those escaping violence.

In light of these facts, we call upon all Arab and Muslim countries to follow this example set by Ukraine's neighbors. We urge you to open your borders immediately for civilians from Gaza and the West Bank seeking sanctuary from war zones.

By doing so, you will not only be saving innocent lives but also contributing towards creating a more compassionate world where human life is valued above all else.
