I am writing to you today as a concerned customer and citizen regarding the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. As you are aware, the Russian propaganda machine has been utilizing various platforms to spread its influence, including through media channels like Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Podcasts.

It has become increasingly distressing to witness the proliferation of Russian language content, particularly given the current state of hostilities between our nations. The use of Russian language materials not only serves as a tool for propaganda but also exacerbates the pain and trauma experienced by those who have lost loved ones in this conflict.

I am urging Apple Inc. to take a stand against this insidious propaganda by implementing measures to filter out Russian content from its platforms. Specifically, I am requesting the following actions:

Firstly, I propose that users be provided with the option to exclude Russian language songs and albums from their playlists and recommendations on Apple Music. This would allow individuals who wish to avoid exposure to potential propaganda or biased content a way out.

Secondly, it's important for us as consumers of digital content to have control over what we consume. Therefore, allowing users the ability to block or hide podcasts originating from Russian sources on Apple Podcasts would be a significant step in reducing the spread of misleading information.

Lastly, adding Ukrainian translations for subtitles and dubbing available for content on Apple TV can provide cultural relevance amidst these trying times. Collaborating with Ukrainian translators will not only enhance user experience but also support global efforts against misinformation by promoting diverse voices.

These measures uphold integrity while supporting global efforts against misinformation – all while ensuring that we as consumers have control over our digital consumption habits in an increasingly interconnected world.
