I've had two close calls on Highway 32, both times being cut off by semi trucks turning left at intersections while I was driving straight, and I know I’m not the only one who has had near accidents on this highway. Highway 32 is currently an undivided two-way-traffic roadway, making it not only overcrowded and frustrating at times but also potentially dangerous for users. 

Highway 32, south of Winkler, is heavily trafficked by both regular and commercial transport. Upgrading this stretch to a divided four-lane road with safety-focused intersections would make many residents’ daily driving more efficient and reduce the occurrence of near-miss accidents such as mine and potentially save lives. We need a safe highway with safe intersections before people die because of inaction.

As residents and users of this highway, we're calling on the provincial government to take immediate steps to upgrade Highway 32 south of Winkler to a divided four-lane road.
