UPGRADE WORKS TO COMMENCE ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello Fellow Residents and Community Members 

Work is finally starting on the Cowpasture Road/ Fifteenth Ave/ Hoxton Park Rd intersection.

ANNOUNCEMENT MADE ON THE 20TH MAY 2026

📣 Good news for local motorists!

 Transport for NSW will soon begin upgrades on Cowpasture Road between Fifteenth Avenue and the M7 at Hoxton Park, with works starting from 29 May and expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The works include:

• Extending the right turn lane from Cowpasture Road onto Fifteenth Avenue

• Extending both right turn lanes onto Hoxton Park Road

• Adding an extra lane from Fifteenth Avenue to improve safety for motorists entering the M7

Works will take place during the day and overnight, with Cowpasture Road remaining open to traffic. Temporary lane closures, reduced speed limits and traffic controls will be in place while works are carried out.

Undoubtedly there will be some inconvenience experienced by drivers during the time the works and upgrades are taking place however it should be an improvement to the current situation when construction is finished.
